The Liberty Theater of Vandalia, Illinois was built in 1910 as the Odd Fellows Lodge. The lodge rented out part of the building for what was then called the Dixie theater. The building has survived two fires, one in 1929 and another in 1941. Today, the art deco 550 seat Liberty Theater, which boasts a 18 x 24 foot screen and a state of the art sound system offers area residents with current movie releases for all ages. The Liberty Theater showtimes are 7:00 PM daily.
