The Vandalia Illinois City Street Department is a multi-faceted department within the city. Not only do they provide services to improve and maintain the city's public streets, but they are also responsible for maintaining regular checks of all traffic control devices as well as night lighting for all areas within the city limits. The Vandalia Illinois Public Works Department also maintains and installs water and sewer lines within the city.
